As part of my journey to becoming a Certified Child Life Specialist, I spent 8 months as a virtual volunteer for Get Your Play On(Line). This online platform was developed during the COVID-19 pandemic and was designed to bring play opportunities to children through virtual means. During my time, I develop activities for the blog, conduct one-way live programming on Facebook Live, create pages for activity books to be handed out to children in person in hospitals or other settings, and helped roll out the latest medium of activity delivery: grab-and-go fliers.
