Making a Mark
& Moments of Recognition as a Watson Fellow

This page contains some highlights from my time as a Watson Fellow. These were moments when the work being done by the amazing teams with whom I worked were recognized, celebrated, or showcased by the broader community. And, I got to be there to witness and participate!

I'm sure I wasn't able to include everything here, so to learn more about these moments and my experiences, check out my blog!

New Zealand

While in my first country, I had a lot of amazing opportunities, a few of which I showcase here. Flip through the slides to see my participation in Waiata practice, a miscarriage fun run, a presentation to monthly pediatric palliative care group, and more!

Senegal

I got the chance to be in Senegal for the International Childhood Cancer Day. A TV crew came to film at the hospital where I was working. Although I stayed mostly out of the camera's view, there is a brief shot of me and I had the chance to be part of this production. The news report is in Wolof, but check it out if you want!

Ireland

During my time in Ireland, I had the pleasure of collaborating with two very wonderful organizations focused on supporting bereaved individuals.
